Dr Tan participated in the 49th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), 28 February to 11 March 2005, New York, USA. The International Council of Women (ICW) conducted 3 side-events, one is a seminar on 1st March on "Water" and the other one a panel discussion on "Poverty Eradication" on 2nd March. ICW also held a celebratory event in honor of Susan B. Anthony on 5th March. More>>
January 2005
Dr Tan attended the CEDAW 32nd Session, 10 - 28 January 2005. This is Dr Tan's first meeting after being elected into the Committee in August 2004.
